In order to apply for this grant, both the applicant and the project must be eligible. Eligible applicants are Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority area. An SME is any registered limited company with fewer than 249 employees, a turnover not exceeding 46 Million Euros, and a balance sheet that does not exceed 46 Million Euros.
All funding set out is available across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority area; Cambridge, South Cambs, Huntingdonshire, Peterborough, East Cambs, Fenland and the Business Board (GCGP LEP Area), which consists of; Rutland, Kings Lynn West Norfolk, St Edmundsbury and Forest Heath (West Suffolk), North Hertfordshire, South Kesteven, South Holland and Uttlesford, Essex. This coverage may change subject to the outcome of Government's review of Local Enterprise Partnerships. The Business Board, is the new Local Enterprise Partnership for the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough area.
All applicants must be able to produce evidence of income generation, by means of submitting copies of their accounts, and a forecast to show cash flow after the grant has been paid. Eligible projects are those which involve the outright purchase of capital equipment. We cannot accept applications for equipment that will be purchased using Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase or any type of Credit Sale.
